  • Does the laptop get hot? are there vents

    under the laptop?

  • @Radi0Fish You should check out some other videos about the HP envy 15, they might be a little more useful than my own.

  • @Radi0Fish The vents though, are along the entire backside of the laptop, so when you close the screen you see slits for the vents running all the way across the laptop edge. then you have the mesh style speakers which let out some heat, it also comes with hp coolsense, and there are about 3 more vents on the bottom, this laptop has no overheating issues, and if there is any heat it's about as warm as it would get if you were to leave your palm on it. In short, this laptop is awesome.

  • The fan on occasion will run out of nowhere but the sound to me is very minimal in comparison to some of the other laptops I have used

  • 1. Could you try running Virtual Emulation (preferably VMWare but Virtual Box will do)?

    2. Could you try to boot into a linux (Ubuntu) distro (you can use Virtual Box to do so)?

    3. Is the fan loud and ridiculous? I have a HP Tx2500z and its loud as fuck? In addition does the computer get so hot and loud to the point where you don't want to hold it / have it on your lap?

  • @ShotaNazurah Sorry, boss, can't well, I don't want to run that vmware, I will not run linux either. This laptop never gets that hot, I know what you mean, i used to own a laptop and after about an hour of game play i could no longer stand to have my right hand resting on the laptop because it literally burned me. NOT the issue here whatsoever.
