Delhi Metro - a fan video!

Delhi Metro is being counted amongst the marvels of Modern India, dubbed as proudest achievement of modern India by Indian Ministers.

But for a common man, it is much more ... the bare necessity mode to commute, it is nothing less than a dream.

Delhi Metro entered adjoining state Uttar Pradesh on November 12, 2009, with the opening of the Dwaraka-Noida line, which is already a huge hit.

On a peaceful weekend, I made this video to salute those thousand of engineers who are working round the clock to realize this dream.

@Givusabrake Delhi metro has 5 layers of safety. X-ray scan, manual search of bags, cctv cameras, sniffer dogs and police dressed in civilian clothes constantly keeping a vigil. All this doesn't eliminate possibility of terrorism but makes it extremely hard.

@TheNorthHindian - true brother. All we know Kalmadi tried hard for precious 6 years to being CWG to Pune and once exhosted all efforts finally starts workking 2 years ahead of deadline and created such mess.

The truth must be told. Mumbai owns Indian-national media! And these people are very hostile towards Delhi/Punjabis. These people can not tolerate that fact that Delhi was chosen for CWGames. Every piece of crap news has been highlighted to malign Delhi and its admstration. Whats even more baffling is that Delhiites are not even aware of criminal-Mumbai-brigade crapping on their city/people. Why are north Indians so naive? and why have these racists been allowed to get away with such savagery?
