I had problems with windows mobile on iPaq. It was an old WM5. Then I found nicely butchered ROM on xda-developers and :D am using it since :)

Yes its the phone and no it has to be connected to your pc with a cord and the pc must have the software that comes with the phone.

ppc is the phone rite? and u cant do this w/o syncing? I really dont know what that is. No biggie. thanks for responding.

Hmm, a MircoSD is necessessary, and you have to have synced both PC and PPC to each other, I might make a video a dumbed down version later when i have time but i dont have a Tmo WIng

I have the exact same question. I just got my wing used a couple days ago. I have NO idea how to get started, if I need a MicroSD card, do I download from my phone or do I need to send from PC to phone (how? cord? email?)
Jeez...I wish on vids like this, someone would dumb it down JUST a tad, and I'm usually ahead of the curve on most electronics. Just not phones. :(
