The updates on the devastation in Japan may have faded from the daily news, sadly there are still many families struggling to overcome their unfortunate predicament. After losing their love ones, homes and belongings, many look for hope to give them the strength to move forward towards their uncertain future.

The healing process is a long difficult journey, and the ongoing relief efforts by the Japanese government & the global community to help the Japanese people are not enough to provide for all their needs.

Story Behind the Song

The song was inspired by an image I saw on a website of a young mother holding her dead daughter after the tsunami in Japan. She was on the ground covered in debris, and her daughter was lifeless in her arms. I could see the pain she was expressing through her eyes while she cradled her daughter tightly in her arms and tears falling down her face. The song portrays the journey the mother went through to find peace in her heart.
