This track plays when Gandalf goes forth from Rohan to find and bring the Rohirrim, led by Eomer, son of King Theoden, to fight at Helm's Deep. Later on in the track the music shifts gears back to the travels of Frodo, Sam, and Gollum on their way to Mt. Doom, where they encounter one of the Nazgul atop his flying mount.

This is such a fucking awesome soundtrack! I can't get enough of it. This movie deserves more respect.

Mozart did also re-use some of his music - a violin-riff from symphony 40, 4 also turned up in another work - a concert for piano and orchestra - unfortunately i cannot remember which concert it was - it is at my computer but then... there are over 200 tracks with mozart on my com :)

That part is pretty close to that theme, considering it was done by the same guy. Rosenman did use a lot of the same themes time and again. Just listen to Star Trek IV's soundtrack and you can tell it's his style of music. However, James Horner gets the same rep too from others. Both are great composers, or were in the case of Rosenman (passed away in 2008).
