the owners traded it in with a hole in the block so that makes it legitimate but if it were me i'd still swap in a j/y motor and keep driving. still a waste, nice vehicle.

Although the entire C4C program was a waste, you are right about this at least being a vehicle with a major problem. If they managed to ruin a Jeep 4.0 engine, they must have been pretty hard on it. It would still be worth repairing though. Like you, I would have put in another engine and gotten more use out of it.

I hope a lot of people will remember this waste when Barry comes up for re-election. He is bound to be a one-term President anyway.
