As to the interview itself, he's not telling anything extraordinary - general thoughts over internet and google.

For someone who is outside of the language surrounding since 6 he speaks perfect Russian - using far more complicated grammer and range of notions than an average Russian country side guy. Yep, he's got intonational accent and rarely mixes up a bit of grammar, so what. Proud of him

что он говорит: "на самом деле (фраза паразит)", тока, вместо только. он не ошибается в падеж и окончаниях. так что языком оперирует прекрасно..а акцент. ну акцент..

Он говорит по русски хорошо. вы бы сами уехали за границу и прожили там всю жизнь, а потом бы говорили. у нас половина детей покидая россию через год уже двух слов по русски связать не может. конечно у него акцент... и что? русским он отлично владеет. для меня всегда показатель то, как человек строит фразы и использует ли слова паразиты. так как в основном слова без смысловой нагрузки так сказать свойственны носителям, а иностранцы учат более литературную версию. именно у сергея можно заметить

Frankly Sergey speaks bad Russian with a strong American accent (reminds of Maria Sharapova a bit), yet when he speaks English he has a bit of a Russian accent. Very curious! Well, at least he understands Russian ;-)
