@garylokp1 I know it's hard to translate a Chinese poem (or all Chinese poems for that matter) into English. I should be an expert now of this song, cause I got a lot of help from the YouTubers and I also found a lot of info on the web. It's a very romantic story, although the the real story about the Princess wasn't that romantic. The real story was even more sad.

@175Kingwithoutacrown It's hard to translate into English but there was a story about this song. In Ming dynasty (ancient China), the emperor was overthrown by rebellion army. The princess did't want to live alone. She decided eat poison with her husband in the palace. Before that, she sang this song to express her missing to his emperor, her unwillingness to leave her husband and her presistance for dying
