I am an opera singer. I have sung with opera companies and symphony orchestras around the world. My favorite singers remain the Statler Brothers. Listening to their records is where I first learned what harmony is. I still sing their songs in my down time today. They were, and are, the greatest. Thanks Don, Harold, Phil, Jimmy, and Lew.

Don was my favorite one of the Statlers. Of course they were all great and one of a kind. Their music lived on for a long time and they stayed on top for almost 40 years. I don't know of any group that can say that. No wonder they were the most awarded group in country music.
