This is the 3rd test of my combat robot Whiplash.
It is no longer the 'Hobbyweight Combat Robot' as it weighs over 7kgs.
This vid shows how I bent my 5/16" weapon shaft lifting up 13kg of bricks.
The weapon crapped out in the end because a wire was ripped off the weapon motor(again).
Sorry about the bad lighting, I didn't realise it was that dark.

well i chose that so it would fit in the skateboard ball bearings i had and it was initially designed as a hobbyweight but it is 7kgs
it was never meant for serious competition anyways

5/16" is WAY too thin for a 13kg bot. My featherweight uses a 3/4" hardened steel shaft and even that's pushing it.
