...Con't. 240 FT LB impact wrench in under 10 sec. - instead of hrs. & making a mess of it, or a threaded headset (yes I'm old school) 30 mm -36 mm sockets help bust even the tightest ones loose & far safer then scissoring wrenches granted; many of my custom tools work best for the sub $800 bike price range, but refinements would make them handy even on Sevens
@prettyshady that was not my point, sure there are some bikes where finesse is key, but speed is important as well (there only so much you can do w/ hand tools, & Allen key drivers, screw drivers that are contoured for fit working w/ bikes, as well as impact tools such as Cartridge B/B fixed cup tools make assembly a cinch (the fact that Stein actually makes a hand tool so you can struggle w/ removal to be politically correct is a joke!) I've removed even the tightest fixed cups via a cordless
It sucks that in this day & age bike techs are still fooling around w/ hand tools, the indrustry is in the dark ages & needs to modernise or be left behind (I've been using power tools as well as a few custom creations for lack off off the shelf units for well over a decade!,
What seems like envior-friendly, touchy feely liberism has no plase in shops thus the 23% turnover rate nationally.
Real techs use power equipment (& hand tools as a backup) not the other way around.

what power tool could you use to fix a bike? a drill with a 5mm allen key on the end to tighten a seat post bolt?
putting a bike together requires the subtle touch and controll of the hand, unlike drilling a hole in a wall.
