Beautiful video, but you have GOT to take down the middle finger. I understand your reasoning why, but you don't want to be a blasphemer. Please, can you just take that part out?

I don’t have much faith in all those preachers. They are human like me and probably you. In consequence they are not infallible.

Anyway, I don’t know why and I don’t care, but I like gospel music.

Robert Duvall did an OUSTANDING job in this movie. I love Lyle's soulful style! Just an amazing song!

This song would make a corpse get up and boogie! God bless Lyle Lovett. I also loved the movie. I thought The Apostle was beautiful. I thought it was about the human spirit. I loved the part where the people laid their Bibles in front of the tractor. Gospel music - and this movie - made me remember that not all "low church" Christians are nasty right wing born again crazies. Lots of them really are Christians. Anyway - fabulous, wonderful gospel. Kudos from this old heathen.
