  • I'm actually trying to figure out how to make the character a sphere such as yours, with a rolling animation. Could you help me out or point me in the direction of a tutorial? Game looks great, good luck! :D

  • @ThePvPExperience There's actually no rolling animation, the player is a rigid body that takes input from a playercontroller. You'll probably want to extend KActor.

  • @lacabrinator Thanks for the response. Are you aware of a tutorial I could follow to be able to make my player model a rolling ball? That would be great. I'm not entirely sure how to make a rigid body and the like. Thank you! :D

  • @ThePvPExperience I don't know of a tutorial, but you could start by taking a look at the Whizzle source - that uses a rigid body with constrained movement. I found it useful.

  • @lacabrinator Ah, okay, so that's how you originally figured out how to change the player model? I've been struggling with it for weeks, and my project is basically at a standstill until I can figure that out.

  • @ThePvPExperience Actually, we didn't change the player model so much as not use a pawn at all. But yeah, Whizzle was the first thing I looked at and should help you. If you take its character and un-constrain its movement you're most of the way there.
