Great looking boat.

Interesting boat. Yes, the design most certainly is not original but a modified and possibly enhanced Whaler. Nice job on the boat.....this goes to show you that Boston Whaler had it right when they came up with this design in the early 1970's.
Good job guys......I'm impressed.

I'm quite impressed with this design, I recently saw your ad in bush in beach magazine. Well done and good luck!!

I ran into this boat about 20 mile of the coast up north coming in late and a bit rough I have a big brand 6m plate boat with a 175 I had to throttle back at about 20kph this bloody 6+m with a (115 mind you and 5or6 people not real sure) lifted out of the chop got on top and dissapeared and was loaded and gone when we arrived at ramp got the name of boat thought there may be a web site but name lead me here .Will let me know where these are made or can be contacted please? R Gibson
Hey Gibsonr32, the boat was sold to a gentleman living outside of Cairns, please let me know if you would like a water test of the boat and we will endeavor to arrange a time for you.

Initially we were to fit this boat with a 175 two stroke, but a customer requested the 115. The transom will take 200hp with no modification. We are also in talks at the moment with a dealer who would like to see a centre cab and bowrider version of the same hull.

It may not look like it's out of the water, but it is deceiving, if you look closely as the boat rides up the waves, you can actually see that the keel is not much deeper than the chines. At speed there is very little keel in the water, the sponsons ride just on top. The lift is caused by both the air caught under the sponsons, and the spay from the lift chines underneath. What we couldn't believe was how soft and stable it was even with six people fully loaded.

This design is actually a 3rd gen design from an original hull we had played around with, upon inspection it is similar to a Boston Whaler, but angles of the deadrise and reverse chines are different, to produce out of alloy wasn't an easy task but extra time spent in the 3D stages made it much easier. The same hull in glass would require alot more HP to get the same performance.
