@mariox901 - It's because the audio output from the GameBoy's headphone jack is very weak and I didn't edit the sound clip to make it louder.

Since I'm currently working on the successor to 10 Minutes of Video Game Music, 15 Minutes of Video Game Music, I will reupload all my existing 10 Minutes of Video Game Music tunes and they will all be normalized to a specific volume. So when it comes time to reupload this tune, it will be much louder.

@MECHASWORLD2020 - When I reupload all my 10 Minutes of Video Game Music videos as 15 Minutes of Video Game Music(which should start by the weekend at the latest), I'll have all the music at the same volume. GameBoy music in particular is very low due to the headphone amp in the GameBoy "Brick" being so weak(I didn't use a GameBoy emulator for this, but rather a real GameBoy. Screw emulation; I only use emulation as a last resort).

They remixed this song for Contra ReBirth, there it sounds like a Sega Genesis on roids. Epic tune.

Being the only original piece of music for this game, I think this is a really cool song. I second those who say the remix is also great too
