Valkyria Chronicles - Chapter 4: Operation Cloudburst battle - Rank A strategy

It takes 2 turn to beat this one. I'm pretty sure it's not possible to beat this level in 1 turn. I played around and tried to see if it's possible to get 2 scouts or 1 scout and 1 engineer in the enemy base camp or something to get more grenades in there but the range is so limited after 3 moves that it makes the enemy base practically unreachable. So close yet so far. I'm open to suggestions in case there a way to do it. :)

I've decided to try and take on the project of exploring the possibly of speed running this game. Basically, beating each of these levels as efficiently as possible without power-leveling. That means not only beating each level in under the amount turns required to get "Rank A" but also trying to optimize each action and ultimately achieving the most efficient strategy possible. I'm always looking to improve myself so if you have any tips and tricks leave a comment, video response or whatever.

Actually, you can win the battle in 1 turn. ^_~ Here's how:

Use your tank to break down the wall where the tanks are. You need 2 turns of the tank to do this, so it'll kill off 4 badges. Then have Alicia run through the sleeping tanks, and her first move is to throw the Randgrizer (mine's was M5) at the shocktrooper at the base. Alicia's 2nd turn is to run right up to flag & head shot at the scout. At a close range, her chance of 4 of 5 shots should kill the scout, then Alicia claims the camp.

wow thanks for this! The though of using the Tank twice never ran through my mind since it's so heavy on the CP's. I'll definitely be using this strat on my next playthrough. :)

getting a ranks without killing hardly anything is a cakewalk for all levels.

@thelonemoon If you just use the tanks mortar to hit the wall u only need to use the tank once.

If u completed it once, u can do it in one turn with alicia :D

Also, I remember there's still and extra 3 badges leftover (I had Rosie and Largo on the field, so it gives extra badges), so if you needed to heal Alicia, you can make her heal herself, or better yet, make an "First Aid" order that completely heals her health. But I didn't need to heal her on my game. But then again, you've posted this on jan 01, so u probably knew that you could do it in 1 turn anyways. ^^;;; haha
