Spore - Killing an Epic Creature (in creature stage)

[[EDIT: 25th June 2009] Note the date of the video, it is 4 days after we got spore in Australia, all of 1 day after it was released in the USA... Spore was brand new and back then for all we knew this was the ONLY way to even attempt an epic kill and not many had done it. Hence the tone of my orginal description text. I now know all about killing blows, cheats & managing this alone... etc etc

I took down an epic creature in the creature stage and the damn thing didn't count/register my achievement even tho i got the dna for it...

yewah alas tho it seems the achievement doesnt count if you use the nest to help. you need to do it by acid spit and kiting the thing. problem is you keep getting hungry it takes so long and half the time you tale the time to eat the damn thing resets. :-(

Lol I didn't know you could do that (meaning at the nest) before so for like 30 mins I just had it follow me wile I kept hitting it with the acid stuff. Point is, if you want to kill an epic without bringing it to your nest. make sure you don't need to go anywhere for a wile...
