Ask The Phelper - Natural Terrain

In 1990 Stacey Gibo, Noah Peacock, Jim Red Dog Muir and I went to Visalia to audition this kid named Karma Tsocheff. Needless to say, he made the team; but he also took us to The Flumes—an old logging run that went from a metal halfpipe to a mega-ditch. The natural halfpipe between the two was kinda rough, but no doubt the best not-built-for-skating terrain I ever rode. Good luck finding this one. Oh yeah—we were trippin on acid. —Phelps

@sstslide270out dude those are OG 1's released by emerica two or three years ago. supposed to be the Marc Johnson 1's, I got a pair because of the legendary staus of the original but jesus they fucking sucked man. every time I skated them I wanted to fucking burn'em. Emerica ruined the legend of those for me completely. Also good luck with board feel if you ever get 'em, it's almost non-existant. I got the black and yellow ones
