Victimae paschali laudes immolent Christiani. Agnus redemit oves: Christus innocens Patri reconciliavit peccatores. Mors et vita duello conflixere mirando: dux vitae mortuus, regnat vivus. Dic nobis Maria, quid vidisti in via?

@luudi1 Actually, the French have always had a more rhythmic way of chanting than the Italians.

@bispofr to bad, thats the best Version.
Very strong ;)

Poor rhythm. This is a Gregorian chant, and should be almost all the notes of the same length, rather than the dotted rhythm. (exception is the mora, the neuma with a dot)
-
This is indeed Pierre Cochereau playing--it exists on a CD of him and the choir singing other chants.

Does anyone have score of this transcription?

I've found (and I've heard) this version just before easter 2011... And I'm living in "full enchantment" since then. I'm the leader of a little chatolic choir in Hungary, and I wonder if I got the score of this wonderful piece (even for fee / money /etc...) !! Is it possible ?? :) Many thanks in advance !!! (if my english is bad : sorry...)

TO THOSE WHO DO NOT CARE FOR THE RHYTHMIC PERFORMANCE STYLE:
See: Notes inégales at Wikipedia Singing the chant in this style with such a huge number of vocal resources and in such a live reverberant space is practical, especially if assembly is singing with choir. It is much easier to keep everyone together vocally than singing straight chant. It also allows for more uniform breathing. This "pulsing" inegale style is easy for most people to feel.

Stunning.... just no other word for it & how anyone could not be touched by this is baffling.

grandiose...... :-) my favourite Easter-song
Anyone knows if they play that every year on Easter Sunday in Norte-Dame?? I want to hear that live...
