  • I think it's an infrared laser - the 'rays' you can see near the paper are the tiny paper particles burning up.

  • foxacoustics - Yes, the smoke is rising fast, but that's because there's a great big extractor fan above it :-)

  • It IS amazing. I have only a 40w "hobby" laser and could only wish for this speed,. Paper gets burned at my lowest setting because it doesn't go fast enough. But what do you expect when you go from $2700.00 machine to a $35,000 one! Big difference between "hobby" and "industrial". Must be nice to have friends that buy you $35,000 gifts! LOL
