There is a small Catholic church in Argostoli, Kefalonia, Greece, that you can find the icon of Panagia Preveziana (found floating on the sea close to Preveza, Greece).
This icon is unique. Initially was a part of a possession conflict between Orthodox and Catholic believers, started when the island was still under Venice.
Today unites the two Churches pilgrimage. This local cultural factor might contribute to the universal smoothening of the two Churches policies and religious coexistence can go further.
