If you want to verify, see VTXOA, and search Hypercharger 1800 Vtx. The pro members say ditch it for the Thunder Air.

Not one of the 20,000 plus members on our Vtx 1800 site claims more than 4 Hp dyno checked over a stock air box. These are fuel injected 100Hp stock.
Looks only.
Members who added KN to stock air box got the same result As I did.
Impossible to make 10 Hp with just air cleaner.
Naturally aspirated engines can only draw in a given volume of negative air pressure at set altitude of air density.
I know every step of what it takes to go from 100 - 200hp with the same engine. 30+ Yrs Pro Stock.

I'm 6'5, I didn't notice a big change over my stock intake. Your leg will rest against it most likely, but I'm don't think it will interfere too much with forward controls/pegs. . . That said, I've never been on a street bob, so I'm kind of guessing on that. As far as my VTX was concerned, no major changes in riding style for me.
Performance-wise, there are other kits out there that will net better performance, but none that will match it in looks, IMHO. I might have grabbed 3-5HP. Good luck

Hey man, Iv got an 07 street bob and im lookin to trick it out and was considderin the pro series, does it block your leg room too much when riding with stock pegs or forward controls? and did it boost preformance at all? thanks.

sounds nice, but will it sit on a mikuni carb?

Air flows in the front, and right out the rear vents.
It's more looks than performance.
Air filters determine restriction.
Less restriction, more flow to engine.
All engines consume some water vapor.
With this on your Vtx 1800, your not going to blow by my 1800 Vtx stock.

I've got that exact hypercharger, I've ridden in torrential ran, never had an issue. The only time the butterflies are all the way open is when you're under wide open throttle accel. Other then that, they generally don't open more then halfway. Hope this helps.
