  • DEMCAD, you should start providing insights into the articles you read instead of just regurgitating them

  • Why don't you actually read the articles yourself?

  • Demcad, Can you please tell us how you're going to brew your coffee? Solar usually can't brew it; I'd love to brew coffee in an emergency.-- God Bless You

  • I don't drink coffee.

  • They're skeptical of the claims and totally paranoid of course! I doubt their relieved to hear about 'intent' to treat cancer patients.

To me this announcement was a dud. They've arrogantly hinted in the recent 2 years about inching near enrichment levels. Hmmm. Or maybe that was our intelligence sources leaking to media.

Either way, I'm not happy about the announcement, just not surprised or stunned. Fuck, and here I thought I was going to get a war!!!

  • What you say is discouraging but true. It hurts to hear it because I have been living it for so long. I am very tired.

  • How do we organize without being decimated by the government?! With changes to internet laws and warrantless cell phone taps what are communication options. If such a movement is to be successful, I think this basic infrastructure - and ways around it need to be addressed an found.

  • We need to begin fighting the government. This makes no sense that the young and educated are unemployed in the numbers that we are! I have been been forced to live a survival existence for the past four years. Yet no job, or jobs because of the economy you are treated worse than a slave! We need to take arms and I am a student! This makes no sense!

  • The gov and media poo poo the U.S. savings rate, but what do they expect when the government purposely keeps interest rates so low and punish savers?

And then there's all the bailout and year and a half of unemployment stuff, etc. People aren't given reasons to save.

  • Well if you ask me all religions dont have a clue.

  • Prove it.

Christianity is just mad that we Jews didn't convert.

  • maybe its telling the truth.

  • The paradox is that if you do this, you are more likely to wind up in a position to afford a really great car some day from savings, because you will not have squandered your future income by buying depreciating assets with credit.

  • The practical answer for anyone who needs a car to get to work but has little cash is to buy the cheapest used car you can toleratea shitbox, to be precisetake out as small a loan as possible, and drive it proudly as symbol of your understanding of the principle "don't buy depreciating assets with credit" and of your unwillingness to knuckle under and discount the value of your future labor by putting a lien on it to purchase an overpriced car from a bank.

  • The big worry is U.S. savings rates: the United States savings rate is virtually zero. The household saving rate is negative. And for the reasons that Bill mentioned and a whole bunch of other reasons as well, this is a potentially very dangerous situation, not only in terms of economic and financial terms, but it brings with it, I think, some potentially very serious problems down the road in terms of the well being of our own citizens."
