@kewillie Why don't you become a doctor, then? They make more money than most nurses.
I'm not especially crazy for nurses since one of the ER Nurses told our patient we're useless, saying so right in front of the patient, the entire ER and God's own world.
We reported her to the Director of Nursing and, of course, she lied about it. Even though an EMT, paramedic and Manager of EMS heard her do it.

I'd like to know a few of the needs for Algebra, b/c I haven't really seen any of them yet, not even with I.V. calculations. Mostly b/c the doctor calculates the dosage and we just give them the dose the doctor says, or the therapeutic dose, which has ALSO been calculated by the doctor. Or the people who did the tests.
Even with all that, there are still 2% of the population who reacts adversely to new medication, but that's a different topic.

This is absolutely awesome! I was on the Mathletes team in high school back in the seventies and have a BSN and MSN but I am now prepping to take the GRE again to apply for my PhD in nursing. What a fabulous review resource!! Thank you!!!

@InvalidReject If major's physics can use your credit up, I would highly highly recommend taking that instead of engineer's. It's more rigorous but the average engineering physics class is pretty much a joke.

@InvalidReject yah man, you don't need calc 2 or cal 3, and you'll barely need cal 1. Any good beginning physics textbook will have all the calculus in it, when you need it. Which isn't much at all. The stuff that is covered in engineering physics is usually tedious algebra derivations, at most. Usually they'll just teach you the concept. Sometimes, just the equation. It's not really physics as physicists think of because physics for majors is like rigorous calculus from the beginning.
