@BARCACROSSESTHEALPS there are ignorant people in every country, so just ignore those ones. Just dont wave an american flag around and youll be fine. Quebecers like americans about the same amount as they like enlgish canadians, which varies with each quebecer.

So everyone in Quebec is happy

I miss Montreal so much! I lived there for four years as a student, and will never forget the unique feeling the city gave. I remember standing outside of McGill University one night, looking around at the city. All the Christmas lights were on, and it was so peaceful and quiet.
It really has to be experienced :)

@DutchinKorea How can you live in that temperature! I feel cold when it is 60F, but I guess I am spoiled in California.

I'm learning French and would like very much visit Montreal. However, I hear peopl there treat Americans like trash and "boo" our national anthem. Is this true? What can I expect from the Canadiens in Montreal if I visit on vacation?

@BARCACROSSESTHEALPS Sorry about the negative impression of Quebec that you have been given. We have never received complaints from Americans saying they were ill treated while visiting us. We hear many positive comments from Americans tourists. If you visit Montreal, you will find an exciting city with a European flair. You will have a chance to practice French but also be served in English. The only "booing" you are likely to hear is for any visiting hockey playing against the Canadians.

@TourismeQuebec Thank you for the reply. I have the opportunity to interview for a job after law school is finished. I will visit this summer and take advantage of your hospitality. Thank you.
