Part two. This is my documentary on my experiences with Brachial Plexus or Erb's Palsy in my left arm. It was created as a part of my grade 12 film art course in hopes that it would be used as an informative and encouraging documentary to families also dealing with this obstetrical nerve injury. It explores my many experiences with Brachial Plexus Palsy through following a trip to the Toronto Hospital for Sick Children as well as my life story of my experiences both past and present. I hope you enjoy it.

  • I love this half of video too, m'dear! (still, seeing as you showed me it last year) So proud of you! :)

  • @Keyaera :D

  • Hi Emily!! Are you still going to the drs? I used to have to go once a year until I was 13. They said there was nothin more they could do for me. I have Erbs Palsy in my right shoulder, arm, and hand. Im 3 months shy of being 30 yrs old and I have never tried to rock climb...lol. Its very inspiring to watch you do it knowing I have the same thing wrong with my arm. Keep doing your thing girl!!!!!!

  • @learnscarlett82 Hey! no , I'm not seeing the doctors regularly. For me, there isn't anything more significant they can do and the more important thing is that I keep my arm active and moving. Rock Climbing is GREAT for you arm (as well as you body ;) if you can find access to a wall. I remember the first times it was really hard but if you keep it up, it really is perfect for helping all aspects such as the flexibility, strength, and range of your arm.

  • great job! i have Erb's palsy and unfortunately i never recovered despite hard work blood sweat and tears.i'm 39 and have had Er's palsy since birth...i had extensive damage Erb's mixed with Klumpes-Duchenne palsy as well. the hardest thing for me are overcomming the discrimination and staring looks. i hide it a lot but am working hard on not doing it.

  • I have the same problem, and I completely understand you

  • awesome video! I am ROBPI . I also did the butt scoot when I was a baby instead of crawling! LOL

  • You are beautiful how you are. Great Documentary. The pullies are a great idea, I've had my shoulder replaced and things are worse. As you get on your own, you will find more things which you will need help with but there is always a way. You are a great inspiration to those of us affected of all ages.

  • Amazing Job Emily, your Will inspires me
