I want that hat.

@ESmithStringSlinger I'm familiar with that interview...I hear an acoustic 12-string, but even if it was an electric, it would have to be the Vox Phantom and NOT the Fender XII...

@garbeaj "Jeff was playing, and I was in the box (recording booth). And even though it says he wrote it, I wrote it. I’m playing the electric 12-string on it. Beck’s doing the slide bits, and I’m basically playing around the chords. The idea was built around Maurice Ravel’s’ “Bolero.” It’s got a lot of drama to it; it came off right. It was a good lineup too, with Keith Moon and everything".The real article segment from 7/1977 Guitar Player Magazine,Jimmy Page on cover.

@ESmithStringSlinger You can listen to the track and hear that it is an acoustic 12-string. Jimmy did not get the Fender XII until much later. The Vox 12-string was the elctric 12 string he used before 1971.Jimmy played the Fender for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame live performance of "Beck's Bolero"/"Immigrant Song"

@garbeaj Jimmy's 12 string on Beck's Bolero was an electric Fender X11,per Guitar Player magazine as quoted by Jeff Beck.
