This is a Stokemonkey electric assist modified and installed in an Alligt Alleweder velomobile. A short clip of the throttle being slowly advanced, showing the motor driving the pedals and rear wheel. The noise is not so much the power system as it is the chain roller resonating in the aluminum chassis.

  • "more accepted" doesn't mean too much. It's what a particular individual chooses for his purposes. There are dual-freewheel systems out there, one is the Cyclone, for those who choose to not-pedal.

  • thats cheating

  • wow

    thats so cool!

  • LargeFish, link doesn't work.

  • where can a person get one of these and about how much do they cost?

  • I agree..

  • Seems like a hub motor with a clutch where you do not have to pedal will be more accepted. My 2 cents.
