@G0Far Thats for sure... Double C-channel welded frame with front and rear sub frames bolted to it... Tough stuff. Had to change out a front sub frame when a customer drove his ML55 into a bridge at highway speeds. Had that been an X-5 or something to that effect the car would be scrap. To go on a tangent...i wish i could make people put a car up on a lift before they buy it. Just look at a MDX VS a ML.....

@taran245 agreed. I seen a lot of them just sitting in the middle of the road, and it took a honk for them to get moving.

@RLhockey203 it saved my moms life a year ago she was going down a grade and 3 f350 hit her one on the right side two in the back then a buick hit her in the front and a honda hit her by the driver side in the front and i was scared cause she wass the center but she was fine not a scratch

wow, just think of it.. it launched about the same time as the 2nd gen Ford Explorer... The Ford Explorer is known for rolling over easely and having a VERY poor roof structure, while this merc has exellent safety systems

@RLhockey203 Of course it did. The framework on these W163's are golden. Best ever; you won't find this type of work on any other car today.

this car saved my life last night...roll over going sixty, bounced off two stone walls, feel like this car gave me a second chance at life...
