Check out Denkitribe's stuff. I agree, this demo was poorly recorded - the intent was to do a live demo, and maybe it sounded good to those at the venue - but the camera's audio does nothing to sell the unit.
I have the original KAOSSilator; the KO-PRO is on its way. The sounds are fully, rich and thick - it is true KORG sound. The big advantages of PRO are: SD storage, four loop banks, double the sounds, bigger XY pad, external/mic input and vocoder, and (of course) MIDI.

Just don't see the Kaossilator Pro as that big a leap from the cheap bog standard Kaossilator. Better off with a cheap Synth and KP3.

@geofferd Well you can't judge the sounds of the machine, when its is recorded via a cheap camera mike. Note that this is picked up from a PA with lots of background noise. Footage from the NAMM and Musikmesse usually is, so the sound quality is bound to be abysmal. You should listen to vids where the Kaossilator is recorded directly to Pc- its a totally different experience :-)

@IRBaboonVideo Jordan Rudess is probably the best keyboard player alive, so its only natural to let him demo an instrument like the Ko 1 Pro. The problem is that the Kaossilator Pro had just left the prototype stage and Jordan didn't have enough tim to familiarize himself with it. My guess is that this must have been the first time, he ever actually used the thing. the K Pro is easy to learn, but it takes some practice before you can play complex stuff.

I dont know about you guys but the audio on this demonstration really bites big time... not only that but the Video could also use some cleaning up too.. I give this one a 3 out of 10 for both Audio & Video.

I dont know about you guys but the audio on this demonstration really bites big time... You can hardly hear what he's saying...
Maybe you can try again and this time find someone who knows stuff about Sound and Video too... the picture quality is very low quality.

Is it just me or was that demo far below normal standards for korg and mr jordan rudess. Those sounds were awful sorry! Stock presets really sound cheap :( maybe with exception of drums but without velocity not great. Please try before u buy
