Join the South Loop Neighbors Association on Saturday, November 5, 2011 for the 13th annual Loft Walk from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Registration / Check in at Dearborn Station opens at 10:30 am, 47 W. Polk Street, Chicago.
"This highly anticipated event offers visitors the unique experience to see inside 100-year-old printing factories on Printers Row and 1920's-50's automobile showrooms on Motor Row, that have been converted into stylish urban residences as well as shiny new high-rises and "soft lofts" that offer all the modern amenities" said Jaqi Green, Chairperson of the 2011 Loft Walk. "Annually the LoftWalk attracts 5-600 people from Chicago metro area. This self-guided tour begins at Dearborn Station, participants can either walk the route or take advantage of the free trolley."
All proceeds will benefit South Loop Neighbors, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that was founded in 1996 as Historic Printers Row Neighbors. South Loop Neighbors is dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of the quality of life in South Loop landmark districts and neighborhoods.
Tickets may be purchased for $30 in advance online at http://southloopneighbors.org/. Tickets will be available at the door for $40 the day of the event.
