Farms of the Future

To make room for nature, farms of the future may have to move off the land and into skyscrapers. Dickson Despommier explains his idea.

Cost would not be an issue if we evoloved beyond money. If we care about the envirionment and the future of humanity we have to do that. The Venus Project has some good ideas.

I agree that we need vertical farms, but it's foolish to make them in urban areas. It has 2 major downsides: 1. Cost and 2. Lowers the population density of the city and thus increases the need for gasoline for the entire area.
