at 7:16 I wouldve played rook to d8 to threaten mate :O

If your going to go by points, yes it is equal but positionally I would rather trade a rook and a pawn than a bishop and a knight. Positionally it wasn't that great of an idea.

That would be trading a knight and a bishop for a rook, and a pawn. Which is fine... 6 pts each

It isn't a sound sacrifice but black even if he didn't took the bishop.
He should have played Rc8(taking advantage of the weak back rank).
