This is the process I use to oxidize my sterling and fine silver jewelry pieces... ((GET MY FREE PDF AT MAKESILVERJEWELRY.COM))

What you need for this process:
protective latex gloves
q-tips
liver of sulfur gel
distilled water
baking soda
glass dish
plastic tweezers

  • Oh my god, thats not oxidized, thats BLACKENED!!. Why would you want to do that to silver??

  • @DarjeelingTea Toothpaste will work to polish silver tarnish, if you don't have silver polish

  • What do you polish it with after?  The oxidation on my pandora bracelet has faded...and I need to do this.

  • It would have been nice to SEE the little tags after you polished them..Ive read that you can hard boil eggs and break them up put them in a contain with the silver and it will oxidize it.
