I saw your bellydance pregnancy video. I was wondering how your second pregnancy turned out. I'm 12 weeks pregnant, but I stopped bellydancing when I found out because my ankle hurts alot and I have balance issues. So sorry about your loss, it was a wonderful good bye dance.

So sad that so many people would put what they did on this page after learning that she had a miscarriage. I know it was a long time ago, but it never seems to escape the mind. I would know as I have had a miscarriage too, and in my second pregnancy. Keep dancing, girl, and I hope that you have some wonderful experiences!

well, as belly dancing was taken part in india to help ease labor pains... andhas been done for a while, i'm sure the baby's fine :)

Belly Dancing was originally 'made' to help with labor so no it doesn't hurt the baby it actually helps...

Its fine actually in this case, as most doctors will tell you your allowed to continue any excessive or action (within reason) during pregnancy that you have been partaking in at least 6 months prior to getting pregnant... I am guessing she has been dancing for longer then 6 months :P

Listen to your doctors, listen to your body, listen to the baby. My friend teaches and she danced during her term. The baby was born just fine and with one big appetite! He's healthy, strong, and huge!
