This is an anti-war song that deals with the aftermath of war. We send 'em off to war, they go through hell (which the general public is shielded from by news blackouts, no photos of returning caskets, etc.) and then we ignore the soldiers' psychological needs when they return to society. This song isn't based on any case in particular, but it kind of sums up some stories I heard.

  • Great, great song!!

  • Your fingerings are fascinating, too, man.

  • Hey, David, you did it again. Another story worth telling and listening to. Great song, great singing and fine, fine, sounding guitar! - Mark

  • David, your song addresses a growing ignored problem. Thank you for your great compassionate song. You write beautiful moving lyrics. Jay and I are very close to this because we rehabed PTSD vets until Bush came to office and canceled the program. We were getting great results. Many got out of rubber rooms and off drugs just by s helping them do whatever they wanted on a computer once a week. Keep singing your songs. Liz
