One more comment. This song for me, is dedicated to Rena in Idaho. I hope that someday she sees this comment and will realize that I truly loved her and think about her more often than I should. But when you love someone, sometimes you have to let them go. One cannot help that love, or DON'T love someone. It comes from deep within our psyche.

@bamabarbiegurl YOU are correct. This happened to me and I'm a guy. No one should ever put up with abuse. I cannot imagine why some folks are like this, male or female. Love is so rare and so precious. True love can only come once in a lifetime. Life is short, therefore time AND true love are SO important. One thing to always keep in mind; keep your mind and your heart, open. You owe it to yourself.

This song is one that we all can relate to. It magnificently-though sadly-details the futility of longing for the one that walked right out of our lives. But hope, love, and mournful longing are very human emotions, and I wouldn't trade them for all of the gold in the world. Money can buy fun, joy, and comfort. But love will enable us to feel the MOST wonderful feeling of all; that rush that's called being in love. Oh how I wish that special one would come galloping back into my life.
