Pendleton Heights Swing Dancing

Brek and Johanna Douglas, who live in the Pendleton Heights neighborhood in Historic Northeast Kansas City, Mo., just started teaching swing dancing lessons in Northeast. For 3 1/2 years they've been on The Swingsters performance team based in Overland Park, Kan. Check out their moves in the video.

Swing Dancing Lesson Info:
Beginner swing dancing lessons will be held at 7 p.m. the third Wednesday of every month at the Don Bosco gym, Independence Ave. and Garfield, Kansas City, Mo. Cost is $5.

Actually we do dance lindy hop and I enjoy it far more. We are trying to start simple, though, since our lessons are geared towards first time dancers. I know we don't look experienced in this video, but we weren't trying to show off as much as make it look pretty easy to do. Love me some lindy at the Marquee though!
