    music has changed so much because people make it intending it to be heard. they lose themselves creatively in trying to create an original sound. anais mitchell is a reminder that opening your heart and being sincere IS what creates originality, and what creates real magic

    She is amazing. The album is amazing. And she has that impossibly cute Joanna Newsom/Mariee Sioux thing in her voice. Don't compare it to Ani DiFranco, she's better!
