Mario Party 5 - Handy Hoppers Perfect Score 50 Jumps

September 11, 2007 - The perfect score of the MP5-minigame Handy Hoppers.

This score is very easy to get. If you are the player who rotates the pole, you just have to press L and R fast enough.
Note: I'm playing the PAL version, so 50 is the best possible score. In NTSC 60 jumps are possible.

Yes, in the NTSC version (USA) the max is 60 instead of 50.

Did you press L and R as fast as you could? When I did that, my team player (computer - expert) fell. If I pressed L and R slower, I would always get a score of 46-47, maybe 45.

Yes, I did that. A CPU player on the highest level is fast enough to get every jump (in beginning of the video you can see, I played with 3 Extra-CPUs).

Sometimes (~30%) he also falls, but then you can retry.

Me and a m8 did this last night, got to 45, EU version. Was fun :P I messed up on the L+R once xD this game's pretty fun :D
