Arabic can be read on any unit but writing in Arabic is not supported yet. Battery life, yes, will drain out by the end of the day is you stay connected all the time.

ATENÇÃO... Comprei esse carinha, se vc gosta de ver videos pelo celular, não compre esse aparelho. Pois qdo vc for assistir seus videos... ele não passa na sequencia... tem de selecionar um de cada vez e dar play... quando o video acaba... fica na tela preta..... isso é uma grande falha.... no demais, o aparelho é... satisfatório.

this video show lag to some extent in device response but most probably this because he was opening 12 applications at same time ,but if this lag present when I open just two or three applications in this device at same time so I will consider its multitask features very bad one.

u can have different pictures but why would anyone want that?: P

you must have 4 pictures with 800x480 pixel resolution.

but you can have 4 pictures and a .desktop-file to change all 4 desktops with one click. these pictures can be taken from one 3200x480 pixel picture to get the panorama effect.

or you can also disable up to three desktops if you want to.

I love this phone. One thing about the desktop background - does it have to be a single picture which is 800 x 3200 so when you select the picture it changes all 4 backgrounds? I had thought I could have a different 800 x 400 picture for each background

with regard to battery life: sure, it's not going to last as long on standby, but that's because you'll probably have a facebook/twitter feed and Instant Messaging running - those kind of apps just aren't integrated as nicely on the iPhone.
