@bustasnipe Hello, i was wondering what is the name of the "natural mineral solution" that helped you with rosacea? and where/how can i get it?
-
First off the whole "don't use menthol" arguement does not wash. Menthol "may" irritate some people's skin, but most ANY product has a chance of doing that. The ZZ cream contains Sulpher and Zinc Oxide. Two ingredients which have been recommended and perscribed by derms for acne and rosacea.
Second, while sun protection is important, most sun-screens are NOT created with rosaceans in mind and can irritate your condition more, like you claimed menthol does.

Is this guy for real??? The LAST thing you want to put on your face is menthol!!! That burning sensation you get in your eyes after putting the mint-menthol cream is not cooling... it's irritation!! Mint and menthol are both well-known skin irritants. Secondly, you absolutely do not want to use any type of soap on your skin. Use only very mild gel or creamy cleansers and then a moisturizer. Why is there absolutely no mention of sun protection when the sun is EXTREMELY damaging to rosacea skin?

you could actually have rosacea and sebhorric dermatitis. my dermatologist informed me that its very commen to have these both together ...unfortunately for me!!! flakey skin around the nose, hair and brow and also redness and itching...

Bustasnipe,
Yeah that sounds like SD. Rosacea is not itchy. Some people actually have both.
Something like nizoral cream should be safe for your face as this is not a cortisone cream.
I'd really like to read your entire book, but right now I'm living in South America,Paraguay to be more specific and I don't know how to get it

hi! This is very interesting. I wanted to ask, what do you exactly mean by changing your life style at the end? I mean, were you just referring to the diet and all the previous recomendations?or is there something else? I've been wanting to go to the gym,but since the heat, sweating and getting hot seem to be a trigger for my rosacea I've pospone it. what do you think about that?can the work out really make it worst? I would really want to know.thank you

In my chapter about lifestyle, it is chiefly diet but I also mention reducing stress in your life.
