Where did you get your Raspberry Pi? I thought they weren't being shipped yet.

Could be worse, it could be one of those tracks by 009 Sound System. *shudder*

I think the music is pretty cool actually.

How did you get fuse to run in a terminal? I have to keep running StartX to run fuse because each time I run it in a terminal it comes up with "(fuse:2598): Gtk-WARNING **: Cannot open display:". Any idea how to fix this?

Hi, I've long been contemplating making a 'Spectrum' by squeezing a Raspberry Pi into a small case incorporating a keyboard.

The idea is to have a completely self contained unit just like the original machine, requiring only connectors for power and display.

I wanted to avoid using a GUI or a mouse, and boot straight into the emulator with a menu system just like the one you're using here.

Could you let me know which version of fuse this is?

The one I'm familiar with runs within a window on a G

I have a similar idea, instead of sticking it in an old C64 case, I've been thinking of the viability of building an arcade cabinet powered by a Pi. I'd want mine to run SNES and Genesis games as well. I don't know much about this stuff, but I've read somewhere that the Pi is roughly equivalent to an iPhone 3GS, and that could run SNES just fine iirc. Hope someone answers your question!

A few questions if you'd be so kind as to answer them :) :How well would this run Atari 2600, NES, C64 and DOS games in emulation? I'm thinking of a project sticking a Pi into a C64 case w/ keyboard and using it as retro emulator. Cheers! :D.
