ok, so can someone tell me WHY the hell hasn't this solution been applied in the Gulf oil spill disaster? Hidden agenda?

wow! Seeing the oil sinking at the bottom of the sea in a click amaze me! magnificent invention!
-
this is bull shit ~ because if you put an inch of this crap on the bottom & coral there would be no light on the plants and bottom and it would smother the oxygen flow as well put 4 inches of it and everything would die any way ~
```
These people must think we are just plain fucking stupid ~
```
We all know that COREXIT killed everything in the gulf and continues to do so but so would this SOT ~ 11 by blocking light and oxygen
```
Face it there is no solution to a major oil spill ~ !
Yes it is really depressing how unqualified people respond on this.
In the late 70's a study from IBM showed that a PC will never ever be used by private persons.
In UK and Scotland this product is tested by independent regulatory labs and received an approval as sinking agent, which does exactly what is described in the video.
BTW only 1% of the oil-spils happen on deep oceans. 99% contaminate rivers, small seas, harbours and land.
hopefully this product will change to world soon.
have just seen a documentary on television about the inventor werner kroh. it's a sad story, and it's a shame that the world was not able to recognize the products potential 20 years earlier.
he got the same refusing reactions from the audience than here on this video^^
@ortizlgnd1 Because the chemicals being used are coming from the very same industry. Nalco is under Shell, and even though it ain't BP they both dig for the same ressoruces, which even Nalco uses for their dispersants.I'm telling you, it's a sad world we're living in...
How do bacteria do when the water is 100s of metres of deep?
Virtually no effect. The oil would be sitting on the sea floor for years.
-
Not much remediation going on on the sea bed. Too cold, insufficient oxygen. It's a long way down on the bed of the Gulf, unlike a scuba site at 5 metres depth.
Could you imagine trying to sink 100,000 barrels a day? It would be 1ft deep on the bottom of the gulf.
Interesting how there aren't too many tests from Switzerland, hmmmmm
Has this discovery been published in any peer reviewed journals? I'm reticent to believe its efficacy without some higher level of scrutiny being applied.
Read this german article by investigative journalist Gerhard Wisnewski who interviewed Paul Schuler, the head of this company (linked MP3 in the article): is (dot) gd/dIEa7
"Just buy it from us so we can make money because we're not in it to save the world." Right? Or is the chemical composition completely available to the public so anyone can make the stuff?
@hunter2458 I am not sure whether I understand your comment correct. Do you expect that investing for more than 20 years should end in giving away this for free? This is not like big inventions work and pay back. Just one more clarification - the product is chemical free its completely non-toxic and from natural ingredients.
I would not believe any of this advert. Sounds like bollocks.
bluenail90 1 year ago
@bluenail90 It is no advertisement and never was filmed as such, even it sounds like this. It was a documentary of a live exercise which was proposed in this way by the mentioned independent laboratory/authorities.
I wonder if this can be used on oil that's already made it to land.
Hardwyre 1 year ago
@Hardwyre Yes it can - in those cases there is a liquid product available which cleans on solid surfaces.
