This video is an accurate representation of those with aspergers that never grasped the true concept of human behavior. If one who has aspergers has a fixation to a question as to why they don't fit in and that fixation evolves into the study of behavior with intent to fit in, then one would learn how to imitate a normal person well enough to appear normal. This would NEED to occur while young, between ages 14-17. Otherwise it is more than likely one would end up like those seen in this video.

@LetoAtreides82 That;s so true. You might as well say you are a little bit pregnant or have a mild bout of cancer.
I am a 42 year-old Aspie, who has never been in a relationship and though I might sound like an almanac on my favorite subjects, the loneliness with not being able to relate to others, is such a stifling experience.

Does everyone with Aspergers find visualising difficult?

It´s so weird with all those in the same room, it kind of...should not work....

@DireDowns No such thing as mild asperger's, you either have asperger's or you don't. I believe the phrase you were looking for is 'asperger's with mild autism' but that's a misnomer seeing as how asperger's is already a mild form of autism.

I liked the comment about the Star Trek character Data, I completely agree he's the perfect representation of what someone with asperger's is like.

I'm an Aspie. Yes this I know. The fact that it makes me different used to frusterate me. But once you realize your only human. It's not as bad as you once perceived it to be.
p.s. I do not believe that having Asperger's or A.D.D. should make one be treated differently then someone else. Just realize a person who is a Aspie or who has A.D.D. thinks differently. That's all there is to it.

@Frizzurd You're right, I'm sure your best chance would be to gather in a cluster of miserability and cry about your inferiority.
I like being an Aspie, it makes me see the world as it is and not as an illusion, which is what NT people see, an illusionary and materialistic world. I like who I am because even with the meltdowns, ADD, social problems, etc., I'm still a human being. AS does not see race, social status, or sex... it just comes. You can choose either to take it as a disease and fucking die from it, or take it as a gift, accept it, and take the very best out of it.
