Trail Ride 3/21/09

My friends and I went to my riding instructors house for the day to go trail riding. We had a lot of fun! I didn't bring my camera on the trail ride, because I didn't want to keep up with it. Dubie was SUCH a good boy! This was his first time to ever be on a trail ride with me. Diego on the other hand, wasn't the best. He was probably the worst out of all four of the horses! When we would gallop, I'd go like five strides, and then Diego would have to stop and crow hop. When Diego gets excited, he's a wanna be Arabian stallion, as you can see when he meets Sky and Casper for the first time. I am in the blue shirt, Mackenzie is in the dark blue hoodie, and Courtney is in the yellow rain coat. This was also Dubie's first time to ever meet Candie, and second time to meet Diego. Never let your horse and another greet with a fence in between. If they try to lash with their forelegs, they can seriously injure themselves, especially if it barbed wire.
