Funny Video #3 - Camp Program "Island Lake Stranger"

*The actors would run on stage after showing this film, run a skit continuing the story line off of the film and then connect it to a game/activity for the whole camp to do.
The activity was a night game called Glowsticks. The goal is to find as many glowsticks as possible (each color or size has a point value) in the time frame given. The Island Lake Stranger and his homies would walk around the field. Once you have been tagged by the Island Lake Stranger or by one of his homies, you have to give up your glowsticks.
The characters are a spoof/mock version of a few of the people that our students would know of from reality shows, famous artists, etc.
Winter Slam Camp is a High School Outreach Camp. There were about 8 different groups from Seattle to Tacoma represented at this camp: Seattle's Union Gospel Mission (Youth Reach Out Center *YROC* & White Center), YES Foundation, Alive and Free, Urban Impact/Emerald City Bible Fellowship (ECBF), Church By the Side of the Road (CBSR), Urban Family Center (UFC), Tacoma Maranartha Church....174 people ;). Can't wait for next year!

Also, big kudos to my husband John Reid for leading the charge in putting this camp together. It's about time there's a High School Outreach Camp for our students. You rock babe.
