Named Blantyre, After it was discovered by Dr David Livingston, who comes from a town in Scotland, UK, called Blantyre.

This video is beautiful, you have used Andrew Bird's music in a way that fits so perfectly - and I never would have imagined it. I have been to Malawi twice (2005 & 2007), and the second time I constantly listened to "Armchair Apocrypha." My Mom is returning this June, and I miss the country more and more each day. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to relive my times in Malawi.

I'll be traveling to Blantyre to work with the Malaria Research Clinic in a couple months...and when I'm so tired and it's late and I think I can't wrap my head around one more nonsensical statistics equation, I watch videos of Malawi...this one is just beautiful...all the smiling faces.

I remember walking through queens. it was horrible. Blantyre is a town full of oposites. I will never give up believing that one day there will be more joy than distress.
