CicLAvia - Los Angeles. 9th October 2011. A perfect day for cycling in the city, and so very many people came out. I cycled with a group of friends from Heliotrope and Melrose (HelMel) in East Hollywood (ish) to Hollenbeck Park in Boyle Heights. We had tacos at the nearby (excellent) Guisados, and then headed back. On 7th street downtown, near Hill, I got a flat tire. Drat. I'd not brought any tools so it was the subway back for me!... Really great time though! -cvj
