this is actually cover of the Afghan Whig's version of "Lost in the Supermarket" - they incorporated "Train in Vain" in theirs as well

I came to youtube in order to find a live version from The Clash, but got all lost in this version. Great cover!

@AbandonedAllHope Vintage Gibson L50, more than likely from the 1940s. I think 1943 but I'm not totally sure, they sell for about 1,500 now. Very hard to find one in good condition.

I think I'm in love. This just made my life. I just got a tattoo for a packet of tea for Joe. The Gaslight Anthem and The Clash. What more could a girl ask for?

Joe Strummer wrote a beautiful song and now two different singers have made it into a classic that I love. Love Mick Jones and Brian Fallon.

@shitcanhappen Brian changes the chord progressions when he does covers, he did the same thing on Songs for Teenagers by Fake Problems. He's doing the progression from the chorus of Meet me by the River's Edge, which is R, 6, 4, R/5, which in this key is Cmaj, Aminor, F (he puts in the sus2), Cmaj (it's cool if you flick on the sus4 just before you change chords), and G. It's a blast to play, have fun with it!
